I had not heard from her for a while, but just assumed it was because she was so busy. When she was head of PP, she was a whirlwind. I never imagined it was due to this.

but it looks like we're going to see them soon. Things like this make me a little hopeful. The world is seeing all of these scientific discoveries, but unfortunately our political problems haven't been progressing alongside our medical breakthroughs and other advances. It's like a bunch of cavemen finding a cache of modern weapons.

Do you think the British find it strange that we Americans “get [a] shot”? I think I’d rather be jabbed than shot. Sounds a little less drastic.
