1. I was in the Navy when that issue of National Lampoon came out. The Navy officers' wive's club ran ...

... magazine/book section at the NX (Navy Exchange) and they banned that issue. The base commander had to over-rule them. It was also the month that the budget ran out and we almost got paid late waiting for the new budget year.

You could buy Hustler or Penthouse but not the Lampoon. Go figure.

The onky quibble I have is in the list of names TRAITOR** calls others, and what he is. The one thung on that list that he is NOT is "radical" which, at its base, means "getting to the root of things". He is, always has been, always will be, a "reactionary". responding, reacting, to perceived slights, insults, accurate portrayals of his deficiencies.
