The oceans feed the majority of the planet's population, if there is a serious mass die off, the political and immigration strife are going to change life on this planet.

Climate change among other things will cause climate mitigation, people looking to live more comfortably. The politicians know this, that’s one reason immigration is so important to some. It’s happening now…not only escaping civil and political violence but the climate is driving immigration also.

They are afraid. They are figuring out that a lot of the world’s population are trying to get to more comfortable environments. We will not fix the climate quickly…it will take decades, so they are throwing any sandbag they can find to try to stop what they think is an invasion instead of trying to find better solutions.
