Trump's 'outright psychopathy' on display in his new email meltdowns

Concurrent with Donald Trump's hush money trial finishing up its second week of prosecution testimony, the former president's emails to his supporters are becoming increasingly over-the-top and shrill, leading to speculation he is not only having donation problems but also the pressures of his legal problems are getting to him. As noted by Salon's Chauncey DeVega who has been reporting on the former president's diminishing mental state and possible psychological problems, there is a growing vibe of panic in Trump's emails as evidenced by a recent one that blared: "All hell breaks loose in 24 hours!" and another declaring he is being held "hostage."

According to DeVega's report, the strident tone in the emails begging for donations are demonstrating an increasing spiral in victimhood as he sits day after day in a Manhattan courtroom while facing the possibility of jail time if convicted on just one of the 34 felony counts he is charged with related to paying hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

"With the beginning of Trump’s first criminal trial in New York, his emails have only become more extreme – and will only continue to – as the 2024 election and potentially three other criminal trials are closing in on him," he wrote before pointing to the recent Trump email that stated: "Friend, in 24 hours, the hearing on my GAG ORDER will begin. I COULD BE THROWN IN JAIL AT THAT VERY MOMENT! This is what the Hate-America Deep State has always dreamed of. STAND WITH TRUMP I won’t be able to campaign. I will be muzzled and silent. And Democrats will have free rein to destroy our country."

That led DeVega to argued that, "Of course, Donald Trump is lying. There is no substantive evidence to support his fabulist conspiratorial delusions-fantasies of persecution and other harm. The corrupt ex-president is in no way a victim, except perhaps of his own apparent sociopathy if not outright psychopathy, and other parts of his obviously diseased mind."

We all see the same Trump, but nearly half of us like what they are seeing. We might just get the president that we deserve. If that crazy bastard regains the White House, we will be in for one hell of a ride.

First because many people only see Fox news and the like. Secondly because what we "see" is influenced by what we want to see or what we expect to see. Unfortunately, many of his followers except to see a strong, righteous hero. God help us.

The truth is, I believe that most of Trump supporters know that he is not presidential material, they just don't care. They want to see a strong leader that is willing to beat the hell out of all of the people that they hate.

People with personality disorders exhibit sets of behaviors that are way out of the norm and they make people around them crazy, but they don't see and hear things that aren't there.

TFG is just being a big, fat baby because he's never had to face any real consequences before now.

Actually, I think his fan club is disappointed he's not acting out in the courtroom. They want him jumping up and down, waving his arms, and yelling "corrections" to witness testimony. He's not crazy, though, so he's sitting there like a bump on a log rathe risking jail. He's saving it all up for rage texting later on. If he were truly crazy, he wouldn't bother to control his behavior in court.

The cult wants MORE acting out. Not less.

That is one reason Trump is so angry he cannot act out as much with the gag order.
And angry that his attorney won't run his mouth instead.

They want him to stick it to the Deep State by misbehaving in a court of law. That's how far gone they are.

You're right about the rage building up. He's mostly furious that the attention isn't all on him, it's on those people who are saying such mean things about him, they did all the bad stuff, he's being persecuted, life is so unfair.

Killing and destroying the people they hate is what they want, what they enjoy.
Killing and destroying democracy would be fun and deeply satisfying.

It is not just hatred, it is sadism too.

They get off on it, like Trump does.

Trump had a huge grin on his face as he watched J6 unfold.
He loved it.

Yes, Trump is angry that the attention is not on him.
The headlines are about people saying ugly things about him.
Yes so unfair to the richest, smartest, most handsome man in the world.

“Blanche reads the Von ShitzinPantz post Cohen made on X on April 22.”

I got a photo of it in the “LIVE in the courtroom” notes that were running along the left side of the screen.

https://www.salon.com/2024/05/02/campaign-emails-more-panicked-during-his-manhattan-trial/
...in what is almost a parody of the nice, sane, and normal politics that President Biden is modeling for his voters and other supporters, he recently announced a contest where one of his donors could win an ice cream date with him and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.

Biden’s respectable communications style is both a strength and a weakness: his campaign emails are often so calm that they risk not communicating the extreme dangerousness of Dictator Trump and what will happen if he and his MAGA movement take power in 2025. President Biden sometimes raises his metaphorical voice in his campaign emails, but he needs to be screaming much louder and much more frequently. Ice cream dates will likely be no match against an opposition that is offering a political version of a steel cage death match and the terror dome.

To that point, what story is Donald Trump telling his voters, donors, and other supporters?

His fundraising and other campaign emails are a relentless onslaught designed to create fear and terror about a doomed and ruined America that is being destroyed from within by “vermin” i.e. the Democrats, liberals, non-white people, Muslims, George Soros, the Deep State, “woke”, “Black Lives Matter,” President Obama and Hillary Clinton, those who are not White Christians, the evil “news media” that are in league with nebulous forces to turn the country into a Stalinist-Maoist-Communist hellhole equipped with gulags and prisons where the MAGA people, "real Americans” (meaning White people), and their Dear Leader Trump will be imprisoned.
