as usual. No one will listen to a socialist, the same way they're not going to listen to kids who are paying attention to what's going on and want to do something about it, only they're as powerless as the rest of us are.

At least the thug Netanyahu is getting far less than Ukraine will.

Israel isn't much of a democracy if they can't get rid of Netanyahu, and they've certainly tried over the years. He's just been too good at cobbling coalitions of religious nutcase parties together to keep himself in power. Now he's led that country into becoming a stink in the world's nose. It will take them decades of good behavior to recover, and that process won't start until he is gone.

(Which was more of a mortar shell then some firecracker bought at some road-side market), they would be calling it terrorism.

Love it that he calls out his colleagues, especially in the Democratic party, to listen to the American people. It is not just college kids opposing this "illegal and immoral war".

As he points out:
67% of Americans support ceasefire
60% want and end to sending arms

His "radical idea" is to ask Senators to go to Gaza, with their cameras, and "show us the emaciated kids, those without arms and legs. Take your focus off Columbia and UCLA and show us the real suffering in Gaza!!

Bravo, Bernie!

because a lot of people are genuinely hurt by the name calling, smearing, accusations of being hamas supporters that has occured.

At first, I was hurt too but I quickly realized that there are two types of people who are making the unfair accusations: 1) people who are genuinely hurt/angry/scared OR 2) completely disingenuous assholes who are either shit stirring or trying to shut down dissent.

My conscience is clear. I know what I stand for and I know what's in my own heart. I will not take any implied or stated insults personally because, again, I know myself and I understand that some people are just angry and in a different place emotionally right now.

Anyone arguing that bibi has a blank permission slip to kill as many innocent people as he wants because "hamas..." is on the wrong track. Period. I can't and won't be gaslit into believing otherwise.

My grievance is with bibi and the US for enabling and funding his cruelty (in our names).
