I truly believe that international travel teaches empathy and tolerence.

(15,209 posts)We were there in 2022. The Acropolis and Delphi were very special. We also took a ferry over to Hydra, an island where there are no cars.

I first saw this movie via an online TV streaming in Spanish recently.
Nia Vardalos as the tour guide. Richard Dreyfuss as comic and wise one. Alexis Georgoulis as the bus driver.
The driver gives a great exposition of what it is like to sit, as I have, behind that panoramic bus window seeing the sights.

(8,292 posts)and don't want the government to know where they are or where they are going. There are exceptions to that but most of the people I met abroad, living abroad or staying abroad for a stretch were mostly liberal.
