President Biden: Your senator Ted Budd called the infrastructure law 'a liberal Trojan horse for a socialist agenda.'

I love how Biden can dish it out for those who deserve his wrath!!

President Biden: Your senator Ted Budd called the infrastructure law ‘a liberal Trojan horse for a socialist agenda.’ I don't know about you, but I don't think ensuring kids can drink clean water to avoid brain damage is a socialist agenda. I think it's just plain decency. But as you might guess, the senator hasn't been shy. He's asked on 10 separate occasions for new funding in those very laws. As they say, God bless the boy. I didn't think the senator was a socialist. But that's okay, I promised to be a president for all Americans. So, senator I'll see you at the groundbreaking

Reminds me of the southern expression "bless his heart," lol!

I love it when Joe shows he's not afraid to dish it out to those who have it coming!

“Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.” John Steinbeck

At least that's how Trumpsters see themselves.

than any other president, and he was a Republican. He also warned us of the military-industrial complex, which places profits above people. The GOP has a devolved into a party that doesn't want the government to be involved in anything that private individual could make a profit from. The problem is, the profit motive always ends in lower quality and less service for more cost. That's why the Koch brothers worked so hard to prevent localities from providing services like bus routes and internet access that ordinary citizens desperately need.

It’s for the dummies. They are also trying (failing) to dodge the Nazi moniker that has been hung around their necks.

It’s Not working either.

Socialism only perpetuates poverty and social inequality. If you’re a Republican, you don’t need unions, or gov’t health care — you just need to work hard. Just like every coal miner who became a millionaire.

how I have translated Reagan's attacks on "big gubmint" to people. Verbatim. Sometimes I've specified hard-earned WHITE tax dollars.

I like to point out that Reagan's shift from a supporter of big gubmint to its most famous opponent coincided with (among other things) the rise of the Civil Rights Movement.

This is the perfect takedown.

Re-fuck-licans (pardon my French) railing and voting against "socialist" programs, and then crowing about bringing home the bacon when a road or bridge gets fixed in their district.
