I think a strong majority of Americans would be in favor of him being jailed. Might as well find out now who is willing to act out for tsf’s sake. I really don’t think there’ll be a big reaction.

Bring his vicious cult out in the open, then do what needs to be done to these terrorist, and they will not be available to destroy the elections.
Get ahead of their game. Do it now without the election operations being under attack by Bannon and Lara Trumps Army of hundreds of thousands.
Then do a mass deportation with Biden’s absolute immunity.

if a criminal defendant is “embarrassed “ by truthful testimony? This judge appears to be trying to be fair, but he is veering off into special treatment territory.

He was being extra courteous by talking to TSF's lawyers out of the jury's hearing, telling them to get their client under control, rather than "embarrassing" said client by scolding him in open court.

I'm sure we all have our own opinions as to whether that level of courtesy was really necessary.

Wouldn't have been sitting in the klink from the first day of trial for contempt of court.

Why do we extend mercy to those who show no mercy?

Is this an overcompensation in acting in the name of justice, or is it fear?

fear of Magas, fear of what the Rep congress could try to do to obstruct justice, and fear of the historical precedent. This is where "we" really screwed up back in the 70's. Nixon should never have been pardoned; he should have gone to trial like the rest of his minions. Then "we" let Reagan and his minions get away with so much... making a deal on the Iranian Hostages, funding the Iran Contras. Running dope behind the scenes for dark money.

If we'd set a precedent of dealing out accountability from the first, it would have "stair stepped" up to where it is now with Rump. Nixon, GHWB, Reagan, Cheney, GWB, Feith, Rumsfeld and others each had their scandalous/criminal issues... and if you went back and objectively charted out each of them, I'd bet you'd find when one was "forgiven" or ignored (as with Reagan), the next one pushed the envelope just a little bit further along the lines of criminality. In addition, it gave them talking points and disinformation to spew to their followers... which over the years basically brain-washed them. And so we have today -- arguing over whether *rump should be on trial for any of his many crimes; judges generally ignoring what I deem the worst of these - the Documents case - which every single other person was either executed or given long prison sentences for doing smaller but similar acts. Too many are afraid that the presidency will be so diminished by these trials; the president put on trial for every little sleight of the eye or decision that they're worried their ending the office, metaphorically if not literally. I see just the opposite, tho... and yet OUR voices are never covered. We could be showing these judges and prosecutors we support them in what they're attempting to do and why we support them, but it's so much easier and more salacious for reporters to interview the crazy Magas. SMDH.

I'm merely pointing out that MAGA judges would assuredly not show the leniency we're experiencing with all the Trump judges.

Not an attack.
