Earlier this morning I heard a talking head saying that MAGA Johnson's appearance at court

was pay back to TSF for supporting Johnson's remaining Speaker. That sounds good, but it's weak sauce. What Johnson was really doing was joining the boot lickers in line for the VP slot. IMHO Johnson would be by far TSF's best choice over the others. He brings the prestige of his office along with christian nationalist bona fides to the table. In the group of sycophants, he is the leading candidate.

MAGA (Moses) Johnson could never be elected president on his own, but as VP he would be one heart beat away from the presidency. That's his golden opportunity. Johnson is no dummy. Johnson sees the odds of TSF living long enough tho serve out another term are pretty long. It's the one way he can get to sit in the big chair.

I find the thought of MAGA Mike as president even more horrifying than TSF being president. You should too.

Johnson checks all the boxes...white, male, etc. There's little about him that most MAGAts would object to.

We all disagree with Johnson, but at least he would be constrained by the Constitution. Trump wants to throw out the Constitution, and even said as much.

Johnson has worked with Democrats, after some prodding. Trump practically wants to make being a Democrat illegal, or at least punish people who do not support him.

Johnson would be bad, but survivable. A second Trump administration would be catastrophic. We would not recognize the country after a few years.

Think. Again.

If TSF is re-elected he will immediately set about fulfilling all of his promises. But we already know he is incompetent and most of the others that will join him are equally incompetent. If he fires all of the professional administrators and replaces them with sycophants that know nothing about managing, the government will sputter to a halt (more on that in a future post). That is scary enough, but it actually could get worse.

We also know that TSF has no policy plans and he also has the attention span of a flea. The only thing he cares about himself. In a very short period of time he will lose interest in governing and will focus entirely on amassing power and enriching himself and his crime family. Then at some point he dies and Johnson becomes president. He is smart, he is not incompetent, and he definitely has policy plans. That is, christo-facsist policies. He will purge many of TSF's appointees and replace them with dedicated true believers. At that point we are well on our way to The Handmaids Tale. That is horrifying.

He never expected to win in 2016, and had to scramble to assemble a team. Positions went unfilled for months, and there was high turnover. Yes, his first term was marked by incompetence.

But now Trump has help devising plans for his next term, and they are much worse than before. Have you heard of Project 2025? Check it out: https://www.project2025.org/

Betting there's a special alert when the Speaker begins to "Speak in Tongues" while fantasizing about the presidency so his son can join him in a solidarity "prayer." Sorry... that's even making me sick. OK, enough blasphemy for today, but not nearly enough to block the sheer obscenity this self-righteous jerk and his odious party are visiting on our country.
