An activist in Manhattan was quickly pushed away from a group of Republican lawmakers after he displayed a sign reading "bootlickers" as they spoke outside Donald Trump's hush money trial.
As the cross-examination of former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was underway on Thursday, a group of Republicans spoke outside the courtroom in support of the former president.
"And so we're here voluntarily supporting our friend President Trump, the leader of our movement, the leader of our party, and soon again the leader of this great country," Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said.
