University of Mississippi opens student conduct probe after confrontation between Black student and counterprotesters

CNN — The University of Mississippi has opened a student conduct investigation after actions of “hostility and racist overtones” were portrayed during a demonstration on campus.

The incident unfolded Thursday on the school’s campus during a heated exchange between a group of pro-Palestinian protesters and a much larger group of counterprotesters.

About 30 pro-Palestinian protesters were demonstrating in a barricaded zone when they were surrounded by an estimated 200 counterprotesters, some holding American flags, several Trump flags and some dressed in red, white, and blue.

While there are multiple videos circulating online showing the protest at varying times, one video in particular shows a group of mostly young white men in the counterprotest yelling at a Black woman, at least one counterprotester is seen on video making what appears to be monkey gestures at the woman, although CNN has not confirmed that is the case, as she records the group on her phone.

Just take their talents elsewhere, where they are not hated off the field. Hell they could ALL go play for Sanders, and create a super team where all the scouts for pro’s hang out.
Why would black athletes go to schools where white preppies do monkey imitations at them.
A better idea, toss the racist white brats into the locker room. Give em a little reality lesson.
And it’s not just the brats. It’s the college suits that are chancing curriculums to not offend the white folks and encouraging the division.
I love college sports and the SEC. Hating the way these handful of pukes are showing their deep family bred hate. And the school’s leaders enforce the DeSantas style racism. But it’s the GQP lawmakers that are creating all the rules and division into our education system, mostly in the south and red states. Lots of opportunities for the athletes to play other conferences.
All just an opinion from a college sports fanatic.

I served with many ethnicities that I knew had my back in battle much more than some white frat pricks that believe they are some super race. GQP, Trump and MAGA thrive off of hate of them

One school, the only school in the country, has its football stadium named for a black student-athlete, and that athlete is seen and revered as a hero, role model, beloved, admired, and grieved. His only varsity start was his last.
