What is the most recent full music album you listened to?

For me it is Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poet’s Department: The Anthology. Definitely set out a lot of time if you want to hear the whole thing. I enjoyed it like the rest of her music, but it is probably the most more for Taylor Swift devotees album she has done. There are quite a few good songs, but overlong due to not deviating much from the same sound. She spills out all her thoughts making for some awkward lyrics. But worth buying if you like her music.

I almost waited on her once. She was due for a private lunch with the head of the now-defunct Harmony House records here in Michigan. I had the private dining room all set up for the luncheon. Basia had to cancel at the last minute. I was so disappointed. I brought my album for her to sign.

and makes me happy. I don't really know what the associations are that produce that response but I am always happy when I remember how much I love listening to her. It's a real treat!

So sorry you didn't get to meet her!

after watching her Eras Tour concert on Disney+, I was pretty impressed with her and thought I'd give it a listen.

Her songs are very "lyric-y" so I'm glad the videos she posts include the words, because they can be hard for my old ears to pick up. IMO she has a very evocative, literate, and clever way with words for the most part, although I do agree about the occasional awkwardness, also that there isn't much deviation from the same overall sound. Still very impressive work overall.

I am hard of hearing and use Apple Music, which has lyrics you can follow. Apple Music is one of the few treats I get myself. I think it was good the second part of the album is more piano based to have a change of pace.

Just saw him on Saturday night and needed some more Crazy Horse.
If you get a chance to catch this tour - do it. Crazy Horse sounds epic as usual and he played a lot of deeper cuts.

This album was recorded by Jade Warrior in 1973, but was shelved by the record company and not released until 1998.

Not their best, but has some interesting spots.

Pretty much required.

As kids we had a Weavers songbook, and a Pete Seeger record. Songs like “The Dust Storm” and “The Devil and the Farmer’s Wife” were a part of my musical upbringing.

but probably Meddle by Pink Floyd.

One of the most enjoyable experiences I've had listening to a whole album was sometime in the 80s when I was driving from Los Angeles to the SF Bay Area on highway 5. It's a long, straight boring drive for hours through the central valley. I put Quadrophenia in the cassette deck and listened to the whole thing. It was nighttime which gave it a different ambiance.

It's usually people's (and critics') most hated Madonna album, but I think it's one of her best.

I'm very annoyed that neither the orchestra nor the conductor was credited on the video, but I guess it qualifies, because at 35 minutes in length, the 5th would take up both sides of an LP if I were still using LPs.
