It did seem as if the kitten knew the person...maybe, maybe not.
The person certainly knew the kit was going to run up to her and climb her leg or why else would she be filming it.
Did she eventually hug the cat and take her home?

Inquiring minds want to know.

We had a small kitten show up in the neighborhood out of nowhere one day. It followed my neighbor all around the block as she tried to find the owner. It would follow anyone rather than be left alone. I figured it was a pet who got dumped. Someone drove up, threw it out of the car, and drove off. Eventually, a lady across the street volunteered to take it.

The whole thing was awful. I was 20, he was a foreign student from a country where clearly (from his behavior) if you dated a girl twice you took her home to meet Mom and the rest of the clan. Gaaah. It wasn’t like he was one of those charming handsome swoon-inducing guys either (that was my best friend and the Afghan, and incidentally they are still married & have grandkids) — just a lonesome youngster thousands of miles away from home.

It was pitch dark because my crazy landlady kept the porch light turned off. And there was this kitten that I kept having to unhook from my clothing.

You know, I have never told anybody else about this. I hope the guy went home to a nice arranged marriage, and that the kitten found a home as well.

I miss my kitty, but I couldn't take her to a tiny apartment when she was used to so much freedom. I was so happy she got adopted, but I so miss having her run to jump in my lap.

It took a guy who worked at the store and his wife who came to pick him up to finally catch him. I only wish that he'd come to me so easily!
