Toad The Wet Sprocket - Fall Down

Forgot about this song, even though we covered it in the 90s. (The bass player sang it. I played jangly Telecaster.)
I heard it at the CVS a little while ago. Came home to call it up & listen to the whole thing.
Has a feel similar to Smithereens or BoDeans.

I just looked up how many albums they made, and the number is seven. Didn't know they did that many.

Seen them in concert 3-4 times.

I always thought Glen had a top notch pop-rock voice.

Heard this song on a compilation album back in the late 80's and was hooked

Fall Down works more for me because of the high density harmonies, but I like that ascending chord thing at the end of the choruses.
Oddly enough, for most of the jangly stuff we covered, I found a way to add keyboard parts to make it sound more like us. (Our original material was a strong interplay of keys & guitar, THAT was our sound.) ) But not on this one. It was 2 guitars from the moment we decided to do it. Bass player brought it in as one he could sing. (He & the drummer only sang about 4 leads per show.) So, if he was enthusiastic, we all were.
