BWI Parking Fares Going Up

For the first time since 2009, the parking rates at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport are increasing.

Users will see the rate changes for the 24-hour maximum starting July 1.

Long-term parking, from $8 to $11 per day;

Express parking, from $10 to $14 per day;

Daily garage, from $12 to $16 per day;

Hourly garage, from $22 to $30 per day;

BWI Rail Station garage, from $9 to $12 per day.

WASHINGTON, May 2 (Reuters) - The state of Maryland said on Thursday it estimates it will cost $1.7 billion to $1.9 billion to rebuild a collapsed Baltimore bridge and anticipates it will be completed by fall 2028.

The Maryland Department of Transportation said the state's "planning level cost estimate is between $1.7 billion and $1.9 billion" and said it "is in line with similar projects of this scale and complexity."

The article named various projects the increase would pay for, and mentioned a budget shortfall with DOT.
