Chris Hayes: Why campus protests are 'the easier debate' - All In - MSNBC

Chris Hayes: It's easier to argue about what college kids are doing than to confront the human misery and destruction that's happening in the actual conflict which is, of course, the source of these protests. - Aired on 05/01/2024.

protesters didn’t illegally take over a building, commit vandalism, threaten campus personnel in those buildings, and threaten fellow students, along with you and other networks stirring the pot about the protest illegal activities, instead of talking about the issues that you would like discussed.

Also, interesting how October 7th which precipitated this war, the rapes, mutilations of victims private areas while they were still alive, follow by their murder is hardly mentioned by folks such as yourself, or the hostages still held.

It's refreshing to see a MSM anchor not rushing to misinterpret what these students believe & group them together with the few disruptive ones. These students protests aren't really much different from the anti war or South Africa apartheid protests from the past. On another note Chris Hayes isn't stupid he is just trying to be an unbiased Journalist doing what they are supposed to do unlike Dana Trash. People who can't control their self righteousness & ingrained biases will continue to trash Hayes & similar segments like these though.

I have felt that way since one night, ages ago, when I turned on the TV and Chris Hayes was moderating a Town Hall. He introduced the issues to be discussed, explained the points of view and who was going participate in the discussion. His explanation was so clear that I got interested and ended up watching the whole thing - and understood exactly what was going on. Chris Hayes does his homework.
