More protests and crackdowns on campuses nationwide - NBC News

Clashes broke out on campuses in Wisconsin, Texas, and elsewhere, while in New York, Columbia University said it had no choice but to call the police to remove protesters and "outside agitators" from an academic building. Almost 300 people were arrested in New York alone. Meanwhile, UCLA was hit by violent confrontations between protest groups. Questions were raised about how much time passed before police stepped in to stop the confrontation. The incident highlighted the tensions surrounding the nationwide confrontations, including issues of free speech and divestment. NBC News' Erin McLaughlin and Liz Kreutz report.
