1. With the shit Republicans are doing to this country, it's frustrating that only Gaza consumes student protests.

Thousands of Americans die each year because they can't afford health insurance, probably at least as many as were killed in Gaza.

But I guess protesting about healthcare just isn't sexy.

2. That's an excellent point.

The previous generation protested Vietnam, likely taking a page from their parents, but the difference was that it jeopardized people they probably knew. But, like Vietnam, the Israel/Hamas war is the major story on the news - except for the criminal trials of TFG.
