South Dakota Governer, Kristi Noem is being slammed by the left and the right for boasting about killing her puppy, Cricket. Noem clearly misjudged and misunderstood MAGA cruelty. - 05/01/2024.

Don't most states have laws against such things?? I know we have tough laws against animal cruelty here in New York.

3. Here in Texas, you can be jailed for killing feral cats. The next town over came up with a plan last fall ...

... for police to shoot feral cats. Completely dragged down the local government when it got out. Really got people angry and they came together and are spaying and neutering every cat they can in town and came up with a cheap neutering program for pets. The police were the heroes in this, they did not want to be associated with the town government plans in any way.

Local vets charge $250+ to neuter. Joy and I have spent about $2000 on our feral colony in the last year, not including around 80#s of dry food every month.
