decision was up to some committee? DeJoy has been a disaster to the finances of our USPS as well as all this monkey business that ALWAYS seems to benefit Trump.
A bit of a vent there.

the board selects the head, and the board plus the head select the number two.
Last time I saw the list/description of the board it seemed like one of Biden's appointees must like DeJoy, because there ought to have been enough votes (based on who appointed them/party affiliation) to can him. So maybe Biden et al didn't select their appointments with that goal in mind, or maybe they chose poorly/got bamboozled. Or maybe I misread that list. I dunno. But Biden can't directly hire or fire the USPS head in any case.
